Image Galleries is Compatible with Magento CE 1.9!

By Anastasia Pletneva May 27, 2014 1584 Views No comments

Our team continues updating extensions to make them compatible with Magento CE 1.9 and EE 1.14. The day before yesterday we released the new version of Active Content Slider and today the work on Image Galleries 1.0.5 has been finished. This is the second MagPleasure extension which can be installed on the latest Community and Enterprise Magento editions.

In this version, we’ve added a possibility to use adaptive resize for thumbnails. This feature will help to adjust images of different sizes to precisely specified thumbnail width and height.

As we added a new feature, the User Guide has been also reworked a little.

How to Upgrade Image Galleries from 1.0.3

Before upgraing, download the package and unpack it. Then you can delete the following files and folders from the Theme  and Skin  folders.

Don't forget to make a store backup before any deletion or installation!

If you feel unsure when deleting any system files, use the Extension Upgrade Service and our support team will carefully upgrade the extension for you.

Files and folders to delete:

  • app/design/frontend/default/default/layout/imagegallery.xml
  • app/design/frontend/default/default/template/imagegallery
  • skin/frontend/default/default/imagegallery
  • app/design/frontend/default/default/layout/magpleasure.xml
  • app/design/frontend/default/default/template/magpleasure
  • skin/frontend/default/default/magpleasure

If you use non default theme package, please remove also the following files and folders from your store:

  • app/design/frontend/<YOUR_PACKAGE>/<YOUR_THEME>/layout/imagegallery.xml
  • app/design/frontend/<YOUR_PACKAGE>/<YOUR_THEME>/template/imagegallery
  • skin/frontend/<YOUR_PACKAGE>/<YOUR_THEME>/imagegallery
  • app/design/frontend/<YOUR_PACKAGE>/<YOUR_THEME>/layout/magpleasure.xml
  • app/design/frontend/<YOUR_PACKAGE>/<YOUR_THEME>/template/magpleasure
  • skin/frontend/<YOUR_PACKAGE>/<YOUR_THEME>/magpleasure

Best wishes, Anastasia Pletneva
