Share Me Hotfixes: Version 2.0.3 is Released
Hello dear customers,
Today our team releases Magento Share Me v2.0.3. In this update, we've fixed some important issues that interfered with correct work of the extension. To avoid possible problems, we recommend all Share Me customers to update their copies to latest version.
The most serious bug was impossibility to share a product if the user's Facebook page ID was larger than 16 symbols. In the new version, this issue is fixed.
There was also another issue with sharing. As you know, a customer should give the email permission to share a product or the store Facebook page. If denying it, s/he will just not be able to share. In the previous version, when a customer denied the permission, an error occurred. In version 2.0.3, this error has been fixed, and the email permission works as usual.
If some of you use the "https" protocol for work, you could have some problems with the module in the frontend. We fixed this issue, and Share Me works like a charm now.
P.S. Here is the Changelog for a quick overview of Share Me 2.0.3:
* It's impossible to share a product or the Facebook page if a user denied the email permission
* Extension works incorrectly when using the "https" protocol in the frontend
* It's impossible to share a product or the Facebook page if the user's Facebook id is larger then 16 symbols
